In the days following Joe Biden’s inauguration, there has been increased interest in the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1871, which stems from theories that the stolen 2020 Election will soon be remedied, and Donald Trump awarded a second term. Although the 1871 theory appears to be rooted in truth, I believe much of what is circulating through patriotic communities on this topic is sensationalist, unacademic and ultimately unhelpful to the cause of restoring the Republic. Lin Wood recently shared such a source on Telegram, which hits all the major points of the theory.
The spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes are a red flag. This article is unprofessional, and it’s disappointing that a man of Lin Wood’s caliber would associate himself with it.
The best way to fact-check the most important claim, that the United States is actually a corporation, is to examine the original 1871 legislation, which can be found here. As we can see, the legislation did not incorporate the United States, but did in fact incorporate the District of Columbia:
The incorporation of DC was acknowledged by Paul Mitchell, a distinguished attorney, author and legal scholar, who has studied this topic extensively. However, as Mitchell explains on his website, no Acts of Congress have ever incorporated the United States:
To clarify one more time before moving on, every claim that the United States is a corporation is false, and such claims should not be spread. That said, the government of DC is a corporation, and DC controls the United States, so we can’t simply dismiss the Marshall Report’s next claim. Is it possible for the Bank of England (a private company) to have purchased DC, Inc.? Maybe, probably yes. Did they? Maybe, but short of an audit, we have no way of knowing.
The point the theory tries to make is, if it did happen, the US is once again under the rule of the British Crown. As supporting evidence, the theory also points to the 1783 Treaty of Paris, which officially ended the American Revolution. The treaty names George III as “King of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, Duke of Brunswick and Lunebourg, Arch-Treasurer and Prince Elector of the Holy Roman Empire etc., and of the United States of America…” The reference to the treaty is meant to imply that the US never actually separated from Britain, and its independence has only ever been an illusion.
True or not, powerful men in Britain at the time did indeed conspire to, and are on the record advocating for, the return of North America to the British Empire. The most notable was probably Cecil Rhodes, who formed a secret society with the aim of Anglo world domination.
In the case that a foreign corporation did acquire the DC corporation, I was unable to find any evidence that DC legally became foreign territory. Even so, as our governors and mayors showed us in 2020, the sovereignty status of our states and cities doesn’t determine foreign control of our political policies. Interestingly, it is not just a theory that the City of London Corporation operates independently of the government of the United Kingdom. That is a fact professed openly in British mainstream media, and on the corporation’s official website: ***(See Addendum below)
Vatican City, of course, has always been independent, and is much older than the modern country of Italy. With respect to the Vatican, however, the alleged global power structure gets even murkier. It has been widely believed for a long time, and for good reason, that the New World Order rules the world through Washington, London and Vatican City, which control its military, financial and spiritual power, respectively.
The Marshall Report article, along with many others, places the Vatican over the other two. This isn’t faulty thinking given its mastery of the spiritual realm, but again, without access to their books, we have no way of knowing. I found no evidence suggesting Vatican City is a corporation, but there is absolutely a Rothschild banking link between the financial centers of the three cities. Although that’s too detailed of a subject to explore here, it’s not difficult to find credible sources proving that fact. ***(See Addendum below)
So, what does all this mean? Rather, what would getting rid of this alleged corporate/banking structure mean for the average American? There are two corollary theories which stem from the 1871 theory. One alleges the DC corporation imposes Maritime Law on Americans, meaning that we aren’t actually protected by the US Constitution. Most sources I found about this claim referenced the United States Corporation, which doesn’t exist, but that doesn’t necessarily mean our rights haven’t been trampled through obscure legal loopholes. The other sub-theory is that every American citizen, via their birth certificate and/or social security number, is essentially a financial asset of the Federal Reserve. The documentary above makes an interesting case for this being true, but there are also many easily provable and measurable benefits to ending the Federal Reserve System, which brings me to my final point.
Countless calls and emails to Quite Frankly over the years have asked for advice on waking up friends and family. There is overwhelming, incontrovertible evidence of widespread incompetence, stupidity and even criminality at all levels of our government. For those who have yet to see through the deception, but are still intellectually inclined, it can also be pointed out that the left is guilty of committing just about every logical fallacy in the book. It’s probably more effective to start here, instead of trying to convince people that everything they know is a lie, and using faulty sources.
Mainstream media has almost completely destroyed itself because it betrayed the public’s trust. New media is now rising, and will hopefully take its place. I say hopefully, because in order for it to succeed, we must become smarter, and we must begin to hold ourselves to a higher standard.

On the City of London Corporation being independent from the UK government: “The Remembrance is an example of balance of powers --- City is the basis of most wealth in England, and therefore had special representation in Parliament. But, so did other entities, such as the Crown itself, the royal Duchies, and the Church of England (formerly the Catholic Church). ALL representation in Parliament depended on wealth or providing a key service to the nation.
The City does not operate independently, cannot make a foreign treaty, issue national taxes, maintain an army, etc., but instead is a critical part of the total system. Hence, the City is NOT independent.”
As for the Rothschild connection to the Vatican, a common source comes from the bookThe House of Rothschild Vol. I, by Niall Fergusen. Page 226 discusses a Rothschild loan of 400,000 pounds to the Holy See in 1832. Mike believes this loan was a one-time deal, and does not suggest a longstanding business relationship. He has conducted years of research on the Rothschild family, and for other reasons, I’ll just say that he’s in a position to know.
Some, including myself at first, may see this as an attempt to shield the Vatican from scrutiny. Personally, it began to make sense to me when I considered the Vatican’s alleged role in the New World Order. There is simply no need for it to be connected to the banking empire. The Vatican Bank is dirty, for sure, but central banking schemes already control the economies of individual nations and the European Union.
This is a very complex topic which I believe has been deliberately muddied with disinformation. I have empathy for those readers who I know are going through a tough time right now, and this piece was not written to attack you. As an encouraging reminder, the claim of USA, Inc. may be wrong, but the new worldview you have been developing in light of all this corruption is not. And you are certainly not alone.
