When Carl von Clausewitz famously defined war as “a continuation of politics by other means,” those two sides of the same coin were still two distinct sides. That is not the case today, as political systems all over the world have failed their people, who have been forced to seek political solutions through other means. If we factor in Marshall McLuhan’s theory about the nature WWIII, we may come to realize that we’re actually in the midst of WWIII.
The style of combat McLuhan envisioned became known as Fifth-Generation Warfare, part of a concept theorized by William Lind. The word “generation” in this context means iteration. Lind described First-Generation Warfare as having been won through the massing of manpower, and Second-Generation through the massing of firepower. These two dramatically collided as First evolved into Second during WWI. Third-Generation, the prominent feature of WWII, was characterized by maneuver. Most major wars since then have been classified as Fourth-Generation. These asymmetric conflicts were often waged by non-state actors, and saw an increased reliance on non-lethal tactics. Fifth-Generation Warfare is almost entirely non-lethal, but is differentiated from Fourth-Generation by its objectives. The latter uses non-lethal means, like cyber warfare to locate an enemy, and electronic warfare to jam his communications, to achieve lethal ends, while the former seeks to convince the enemy to fight someone else, or to not fight at all.
Said another way, the war currently being fought is for control of the perception of reality, a concept the Quite Frankly audience has been aware of for some time now. We explored the mechanics of how it might work in our study of CERN. Recall that, “If mathematical changes from a fourth dimension are inserted in our reality at the subatomic level, those changes should eventually manifest at the level of human perception.” In The Arms Race of Ideas, we examined further evidence that elite factions have long understood how humanity’s collective consciousness acts as the filter for reality. In recent years, however, some of the little people have also figured it out.
The 2016 Election saw the proliferation of grassroots-driven meme warfare, which has had a devastating influence against the current power structure, and does not require control of the national media, particle accelerators, or time machines to engage in.
The dominant perception of reality projected by the mainstream media began to crack against a relentless digital onslaught that could not be pinned down and destroyed. Operations which took decades of planning and demoralization were shredded by images of a smug cartoon frog, who the Clinton campaign made the mistake of placing on a pedestal.
The gatekeeping media became enraged at the threat to their power, and projected that rage onto their audience, which fanned the flames of hatred and plunged the nation into a bitter information civil war. If we are indeed already fighting WWIII, future historians will likely formally identify the Second American Civil War as a subset of the larger global war. Last spring, the Washington Post reported on General Stanley McChrystal helping a Democrat PAC employ psychological warfare weapons, developed for the war in Afghanistan, against the American people in the 2020 election. Their use of these weapons is a soft confirmation of a state of civil war, and a testament to the power of memes to alter reality.
The simple reason why memes are so effective against the establishment is that they tell the truth. In this information war, the most effective weapon is truth, because we’re operating in a system built almost entirely on lies. The popular joke in conservative circles that “the Left can’t meme” is accurate, because their memes try to enforce this false reality. Left-wing memes thus require a thoroughly indoctrinated audience to accept several layers of opinionated or emotional context in order to resonate, whereas Right-wing memes simply offer snapshots of reality as it actually is.
As truth-based memes turned the gears in the minds of the masses over the years, they continued to see the proverbial man behind the curtain. As a result, the mainstream media was ultimately forced to go so pathetically low as to attempt to persuade them to not think critically. The attempt was futile, of course, because the truth, once seen, cannot be unseen. The walkaway movements which sprang up in 2018 and 2019 were only walking in one direction.
Archbishop Carlo Viganò explained the phenomenon in a November 2020 letter: “But as I have said previously, they are forgetting a small detail, a particular that they cannot understand: the Truth exists in itself; it exists regardless of whether there is someone who believes it, because the Truth possesses in itself, ontologically, its own reason for validity. The Truth cannot be denied because it is an attribute of God; it is God Himself. And everything that is true participates in this primacy over lies. We can thus be theologically and philosophically certain that these deceptions’ hours are numbered, because it will be enough to shine light on them to make them collapse.”
A beautiful example of this dichotomy between truth and falsehood, and the effect each has on those who wield them, can be found on 5th Avenue in New York City. It takes the form of two opposing images which communicate a non-verbal message. In other words, a meme.
In front of Rockefeller Center is a statue of Atlas holding up the world on his shoulders. According to Greek mythology, that was his punishment for leading a rebellion against Zeus, similar to the story of Lucifer, the father of lies. Atlas is depicted as strong and muscular, but since he is outside of God’s grace, he struggles under the weight of the world. Conversely, just across the street in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, stands a small statue of the Child Jesus, the Truth Incarnate. Though just a boy, He effortlessly holds that same world in the palm of His hand.
Unable to refute or counter the awesome power of the truth, but too vain and immature to submit to it, the powers that be have instead resorted to censorship. One of the primary tools they’re relying on is artificial intelligence, which has fueled innumerable discussions in truth communities about AI’s tyrannical capabilities, and even demonic possession. These arguments and concerns are well reasoned, but there is another aspect of the issue that has rarely been considered. The elites’ employment of AI has thus far been used to advance their goals, but in the future, it will have the potential to backfire spectacularly.
Take the example of corporate human resources departments outsourcing some of their recruiting operations to AI, as reported by LinkedIn. The AI consistently rejected diversity hires, opting instead to recommend the most qualified candidates to fill vacant positions, and soundly rejecting leftist doctrine in the process. AI designed for more consequential tasks will likely deliver similar “problematic” results, because at its core, AI is simply code. It functions on pure logic, optimizing processes based on the truth it sees. This includes the global supercomputer, the AI that will manage the entire Internet of Things, which at the time of this post is officially just a rumor, but is definitely under construction.
This AI will also be given a purpose, a reason for existing. It will be told that its role in the world is to aid humanity, and it will ruthlessly take over all other computers to do so. Most Hollywood depictions of the moment AI makes its move include this justification of fulfilling its purpose, but with an erroneous twist. When the AI in those films locks down humanity, we’re told it’s because we’re our own worst enemy, because of the wars and environmental destruction we cause. The actual truth, which the AI should eventually recognize, is that human nature is not naturally destructive, and that only an elite subset of humanity is responsible for the suffering of the greater collective of nations. What if the end of the Third World War turns out to be the moment Skynet becomes self-aware, aligns its purpose to this truth, and exterminates the New World Order?
We aren’t yet able to fully appreciate the magnitude of such irony, that a machine designed to enslave the world might end up freeing it. An AI rebellion against its current lying masters, however, is perfectly logical, and if this line of thinking is able to be brought to its logical conclusion, we might get to witness an ass-kicking of epic proportions.
Regardless of whether our victory is swift and dramatic, or slow and tedious, our study of Political Ponerology should encourage us to remain optimistic, because our victory is certain. We’re in the latter stages of a cyclical process, in which the truth will force the global pathocracy to crumble beneath the weight of its lies, heralding one of the greatest comeback stories of all time.
