"Is there anything that could bring us together again?"

I really don’t know. Terrorism results in finger-pointing. Random acts of violence by over-medicated lunatics who should be in mental hospitals results in finger-pointing. When tragedies run contrary to narratives that are considered useful, they are disappeared down the memory hole. Water supply toxicity, gang violence, use of force by the Police, attacks on U.S. Embassies, NGO-sponsored migrant caravan invasions — we are completely tapped out of fucks to give and no one is even trying anymore. Virtually everything we learn about on the news has been picked for circulation as a means to a political end.

Now we can cross PANDEMIC off the list of things that couldn’t bring us together either.

The only thing left is a good old fashioned Alien Invasion, but even that, at this point, seems far-fetched — not the part about visitors from another galaxy arriving at our front door though.

Then again I have to ask myself, is ours really a culture that is incapable of reconciliation? What do we have to go by but the dog shit that is projected out by television networks to dwindling audiences of people who are lip-reading Don Lemon out of boredom as they wait at the Jet Blue terminal at JFK Airport? Where do we go to get a gauge of what is really living inside of the hearts of the average American who doesn’t spend all of their time auto-liking anything that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez queefs out on Twitter?

The good is out there, and we see it when the hurricanes hit and Americans rescue each other regardless of race, and gender, without any hesitation. The good deeds of the country and the world are habitually hidden from sight and all we’re left with is non-stop commentary from snarky assholes who think they can live your lives better than you do.

Whether the issue is Coronavirus or a Hurricane or the diffusing of nuclear tensions in North Korea, the reaction from the Left is visceral, seething, and utterly miserable. There is no way that Hell itself can be more uncomfortable than the way the Left lives life here on earth — there’s no way.

What really gets me is this idea that you and I are supposed to believe that if THE LEFT were ever to find themselves in full control of the Federal Government again they would suddenly become agents of peace of prosperity for all. It’s impossible. A congregation of vindictive people have no capacity for peace - there is only appeasement until they get hungry again, and then anything that stands in the way of satiety must be destroyed.

These people are ethnic cleansers, cultural assassins, and widely anti-human in all things, especially in their art and their politics. But yet what am I saying here? Do I want them to fall in line and live the way I do? No, not at all, because then I would be no better than they are. I would instead love to Restore our Republic, no matter how much of a pipe dream that may seem at this point.

I would love to see Federalism restored. I would want to see States supremacy restored. Let’s MAKE THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT INSIGNIFICANT AGAIN! Yes, my friends, I am praying for a divorce. Let the flash flood of god-awful candidates like AOC recede into the sewers of State Government, where their baser instincts to tax and spend will be curbed by the limitations of how much you can steal from only the citizens of your home state. Then then these Leftists may have to learn the power of persuasion again, and perhaps addition, subtraction, and division.

We need a divorce. We don’t have common culture anymore, we don’t have common values anymore, and our Constitution did not design a Union whose stability hung in the balance every four years. We just aren’t good for each other, and we need to break up. Sure there is so much that would have to be worked out — retirement, healthcare, education, law enforcement, the environment would become the rightful responsibility of the States again, but when the dust finally settles we would so much better off.

At long last we would be taking the limitless credit card away from the pack of hormonal teenagers we call Congress. If you want to ruin New York, Alexandria, go ahead and ruin New York, but the only thing that would be missing at that point is a scapegoat.

To hell with it.
