Announcing The 2020 Studio Fundraiser! - GOAL REACHED!!!
Last year I was blessed enough to make key upgrades to our computing power at the studio, the cameras, the lighting, routing, and more. This year, we are going to aim to replace the entire audio system in the studio - this includes input and output, microphones and monitors, mixers, amps, and every last wire in that room. On top of the complete audio overhaul will be the replacing of the video-mixing software we have been using since 2010. We are still expecting Verizon to complete installation of services at the studio building at some point this spring (so they say) but there is reason to believe that this very clunky VidBlaster program’s encoder may be the culprit for all of our drop-outs with the connection. The replacement software which mimics the familiarity of VidBlaster the best will cost a couple hundred dollars as well.
So as of March 9, 2020, at 7pm EST, ALL PAYPAL PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING DIRECTLY TO THESE UPGRADES, and the moment we reach our goal I will immediately time-stamp the end of our fundraiser on this blog post, and then make announcements on the live show, Patreon, Discord, and elsewhere.

In closing, when we eventually hit this goal, this is going to require a complete tear-down of the room and a glorious rebuild. I personally can’t wait because projects like that are so cathartic and cleansing for me and the guys (Mike & Anthony) at the studio.
